The BBC, definitely worth a watch!

We seem to love nothing more than complaining about the BBC. In truth, the British Broadcasting Corporation produces some of the highest quality television programmes in the world. The BBC is an integral part of the British culture and we honestly couldn’t be without it.

Here are 3 reasons to love the BBC.

Excellent Drama

The BBC has a reputation for producing excellent quality, award-winning drama shows. The following are just a tiny example of what it does best:

  • Costume dramas – Pride and Prejudice, Middlemarch, North and South and most recently, Poldark.
  • Political dramas – State of Play, Spooks and The State Within.
  • Quirky/sci-fi dramas – Sherlock, Life on Mars and Dr Who.

Classic Comedy

Where do you begin?
